Finishing up projects…..Part 1

Image hosted by Photobucket.comHere

is my middle son, trying to finish a hat he began in January. He
attends a school where they are taught to knit in first grade, and they
continue knitting in second. He loved the hats I made at Christmas, so
asked to do one for himself. We used a fiber trend pattern, choosing
the flat brim option. He picked out the yarn, a beautiful variegated
blue: Araucania Nature Wool Chunky. Notice the concentration!

nice view of his knitting.. he is a very neat knitter for an 8 year
old. He did about 98% of it.. I finished the top of the hat which
required double pointed needles.
