October blew by in a whirl. Not sure where it went. Let’s see….
There was homecoming. 2 of the three boys are now in high school – and both volunteered for the St. Baldrick’s event raising money for pediatric cancer research. The oldest has done this before. The youngest decided to join in. This is a boy that grows his curly hair long to cover what he feels are very prominent ears. I was proud of him for going bald for a good cause. And so was their dad, who challenged them that if they could raise 500 dollars, he would go bald too.
October flew by, ending with Halloween, the end of the first nine weeks, and the cold of November creeping in.
