Father’s Day…

We made dad a steak dinner for Father’s Day. On the Saturday he had returned from a long week of Boy Scout camp with the youngest – and then on Sunday morning drove the eldest boy back to same camp where he will be working the rest of the summer. It is a 6 hour round trip, so we didn’t see him all day. But we had a steak dinner for him when he returned.

Flowers from around the house – sweet peas and yarrow and bachelor buttons…
Blueberry cobbler – again, berries from our garden. The middle son picked over 7 lbs of blueberries that week.
It was a lovely feast!
Ooops… almost forgot the steak! Nice and smokey from the grill!
